RATIONALE To help the students learn more about the social studies and the five strands which it contains.

American Heritage b This strand refers to those aspects of the past that help to make the American people unique among the peoples of the world while at the same time recognizing what we hold in common with other people.

This strand recognizes that the United States and the world encompass many different racial, ethnic, and religious groups.. This strand also recognizes that factors such as gender and class provide people with different perspectives on issues.

Explain that the demand for factors of production is derived from the demand of goods and services. Match each factor of production with the payment received. CONCLUSION There are several different branches in the Social Studies Curriculum. It is the teachers responsibility to know and integrate these branches into their daily lesson plans.
