Endangered Animals: The Cheetah By Joseph.E. Lim, Malik.I. Jarratt, and Enrique.G. Mendoza

Introduction Cheetahs have been around the 1900’s and they are being extinct as the years go by. We are trying to persuade you to help cheetahs have a bigger population and not become extinct.

Habitat The cheetah lives in forests and plains all over Africa, Iran, and Southwestern Asia.

Speed, Weight, Height, and Life Span The fastest speed of a cheetah is 70 mph. The height of a cheetah is 2 ½ -3 feet. The weight of a cheetah is The life span of a cheetah is 10 – 12 years.

What and Why are the cheetahs becoming extinct? Humans are cutting down their homes which are forests and use the land for houses and other buildings that are making them move to another country or to die.

What can we do to help the cheetah population? People helped donate and you can donate books and cheetah exercise equipment to help cheetahs grow healthy or stay healthy. You can help volunteer and use your time to feed and play with cheetahs or you can also adopt a cheetah to help the cheetah population survive and grow. The website you can donate to is dlife/cheetah.php dlife/cheetah.php

What is the cheetah population? The population 100 years ago there were about 100,000 cheetahs all over Africa, Iran, and southwestern Asia. Now 100 years past only about 9,000 cheetahs are still roaming Africa, Iran, and southwestern Asia. About 91,000 vanished or disappeared over the last 100 years. 100 years ago is when the biggest of the species have been lost.

What are the chances of the cheetah population to survive? We predict that the chances of the cheetah population is 60%. If we help and donate then the population might grow half or more of the population then it already is.

What is the cost for the preservation for cheetahs? The cost for preservation is 17,130.91!! If we donated and helped the cheetah population then the population will grow a lot. Thanks to the people who helped donate and spend their time helping the cheetah population!!!
