Special Committee Task Control cost, authorize all project expenditures and keep track of project budget Facilitate communication between architect and contractor Negotiate final project contract and ensure on time completion of the project Utilize Jamaat resources (Board of Directors, Masjid Taamir Committee, Qardan Hasanah Committee, Shabab, etc.) Organize fund raising Conduct periodic project status briefings List is long, time is short and expectations are high Jamaat Members support is paramount we are facilitators, not owners

Project Status- Feb 2004 Construction work stopped since Feb 16, 2004 Contractor was asking for $500K to commence work

Current Task Shazada Qaid Johar Bhaisaheb (DM) twice met with the Contractor Aamir Bhaisaheb conducted a working meeting with the Architect Aamir Bhai Saheb conducted a working meeting with the Contractor Value Engineering by contractor is complete No significant cost reduction drivers identified Total possible cost reduction <$95K Review in progress Architect is updating drawings to incorporate RFIs
