What is the IAB?  The Industry Advisory Board (IAB) is a group of volunteer leaders dedicated to:  Serving as a “voice of industry” to IIE’s leadership and the academic community  Enhancing IIE’s image, relevance and value proposition to industrial engineers working in industry  Increasing the awareness and knowledge of the industrial engineering profession and the tremendous value it provides society  Increasing the engagement of IIE’s industry membership (~7k)  Supporting the professional development and career growth of industry members You can succeed best and quickest by helping others succeed…

Engagement & Professional Development: IAB Annual Conference Coaching & Advising Series Professional Networking (LinkedIn) Monthly Connections Image & Awareness: K-12 Outreach – YouTube Contest, STEM Education Nominate Industry Award Candidates (Fellows, Crane, etc.) IAB Middle Career Leadership Award Voice of Industry: Support / Input to Board of Trustees Support and participation in Student Regional Conferences Support IIE chapters

Coaching & Advising Series Developed and deployed an infrastructure for experienced industry leaders to share their learning's, career guidance and advice to IIE members in hopes of preparing them to navigate their careers Sessions are intended to provide guidance to assist in determining: Where they are Where they want to go Explore possibilities and how to help move toward their goals..
