My Inspiration and My vision for Roanoke City Schools By Roderick Seals

Inspiration “A teacher and/or administrator affects eternity; he or she can never tell where his or her influence stops” by Henry Adams I will invite students to an inspiration which will cause them to wish for greatness

Inspiration (Cont.) I will challenge the students and my teachers to seek out sources of inspiration every month and allow to passionate about life and at the task at hand That task is to educate our students so they can be a beacon of light in the community

Inspiration (Cont.) I will try to relate to my constituents that the race is not given to the swift but the one that endures. uNvB9h6I uNvB9h6I

My Vision I will demonstrate the ability to to articulate my vision that No child be left behind I will have data based research strategies that will focus on student learning. 1.2 Articulate a vision

My Vision (cont.) I will steward my vision by understanding the theories related to organizational and educational leadership Engaging by a variety of information including student performance data required to asses progress toward a district’s vision, mission and goals (1.4)

My Vision (cont.) I will promote community involvement. Because I still a firm believer that a community raises a child. Furthermore a community can help educate as well (1.5) With the community help, we can implement our vision for the students.

Positive school culture I will guarantee a positive school culture by using the multicultural community to help improve school programs and culture. Diversity is the key (2.1)

Managing I will develop plans of action for focusing on an affective organization giving priority to student learning, safety, curriculum, and instruction (3.1) I will mange resources and also seek for new resources to facilitate learning (3.3)

Integrity I believe in the golden rule. Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you. This gives me the aptitude to promote the success for all students by acting with integrity and fairness

Conclusion I will give Roanoke city the best of me in return will give the students of Roanoke city the best and will whole heartily point the students in the right directions to capture their dreams.
