Turkish Republic was founded by Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK in Atatürk is one of the most known leaders all over the world. He is very important for Turkish people.

Mausoleu Atatürk died in 1938, 10th of November.That day was the darkest day for Turkish people and every year on 10th of November we remember him with respect. Turkish people built a great mausoleu for his great leadership in Ankara. Even today lots of people around the world visit this Mausoleu.

Some information about Türkiye The capital city of Türkiye is Ankara. Türkiye’s official language is Turkish, Most of the population is Muslims but there are also some other religions. Türkiye has 7region and 81 cities. It is a peninsula surrounded by Mediterrenean Sea, Agean Sea and Black Sea. Total area of it is km2. The population of it is around 75million. The most populated city is İstanbul and its population is around 15 million.

Pamukkale University is in Denizli. Denizli is famous for rooster. One of the most famous touristic place is Pamukkale ‘Cotton Castle’ and this name is given to our university.

RECTORATE Pamukkale University was founded in Our rector is Fazıl Necdet ARDIÇ. 3 graduate schools, 7 faculties, 5 high schools, 8 vocational high schools are located at our univeristy. In 2010, students, 1400 academic and 1000 administrative staff are available at university. 17 years in the service of education, students have graduated.

FACULTY OF EDUCATION With the 5 storey modern building, Faculty of Education serves classrooms equipped with projectors and computer lab and drama halls. There are 10 departments within the Faculty of Education. In our faculty, there are 5000 students studying and 160 academic staff consisting of 5 professors.

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING Faculty of Engineering consists of 2 buildings. only the Civil Engineering has own faculty. There are 11 departments within the Faculty of Engineering. Within the faculty, there are technical laboratories in each department for scientific research.

CENTRAL LIBRARY With each passing year, the number of books has increased and today the number of books reached The library is open to student use of 50 computers besides each faculty’s own computer lab. We also have a library almost in each department.

SPORTS CENTER

CONGRESS HALL Congress Hall has been host to many events such as concerts, conferences, theatre festivals. Hall is used for many events held in our city thanks to its large capacity.
