PEWTER CASTING SAFETY

Examples of Cast Pewter Figurines Made in this Class.

Pewter melts at degrees Fahrenheit. Molten liquid can be spilled easily. Burns skin instantly on contact. Melts synthetic clothing instantly.

Protect your hands and forearms with LEATHER GLOVES.

Protect your eyes at all times with a face shield AND safety glasses!

Properly arrange your workspace.

DON’T BURN THE CORD!

This is UNSAFE!

Prevent moisture from entering the molten pewter.

Wash your hands after handling or working around pewter.
