Presentation transcript:

Heat Events – The Concept  With Heat Radio reaching 941,000 adults each week and listeners tuning in for a total of 3,386,000 hours each week…it makes complete sense for such a strong brand to tour and create successful events to tie in with both Heat Radio and Heat Magazine.  With pop culture at it’s peek, Heat events would mirror the Radio & Magazine…think Taylor Swift, Cheryl Cole and pop classics from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s – it is the making of a perfect girls night out!  One idea would be to launch Heat Events with a tour targeting the areas that are most popular with Heat Magazine such as: Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, and Birmingham. I would suggest approaching a company such as Luminar whom own the chain of Oceana & Liquid nightclubs across the country and definitely have the capability to host a tour as well as targeting your marketing demographic. Butlins would be another key client to work with and because their broad demographic you would be targeting new listeners and readers for Heat.  By approaching big corporate companies it gives a ‘less risk’ strategy as bigger corporate companies are more reliable than ‘one off’ venues, not to mention by targeting corporate companies you are more likely to secure better relationships and create other ideas by utilising both companies.  Our aim is to create Heat Events that people will remember and want more of whilst delivering in the most effective and cost efficient way.

Potential Clients

Heat – The Experience  I propose that the standard Heat Event Package should include:-  A 2hr DJ set from a Heat DJ (I am aware you have your own talent)  Heat Production – VJ Visuals, banners and perhaps gobo’s  Giveaways – Magazines, T shirts etc.  Artwork Template for venue promotion (approved by Heat)  Tour Manager  The upgrade to this package and would be a higher expense to the venue would be to add a celeb DJ/host such as:

Heat – Event Pricing  Other touring brands such as Ministry of Sound/Pukka Up currently go out for anything between £2000/2500 in the UK for a standard package (no headline talent).  However the pricing all depends on how much Heat DJ’s are willing to go out for and how much revenue you wish to make per show.  I would be willing to put a costing together if you could get back to me on the above information.

 Cherry on Top Agency was founded by myself (Claire Wallace) who has over 10 years of experience in the music/entertainment industry. I have worked at artist agencies Mission Control & Marshall Arts who represent prestigious artists such as Sir Elton John, Tina Turner, Pink & Sir Paul McCartney. After working in the agency world I then went on to work at one of the biggest independent record labels Ministry of Sound where I co-ordinated events all over the world and UK including big corporations Butlins and Thorpe Park. I now form my own professional, creative, music & entertainment agency where I accept nothing short of perfection from all the acts that Cherry on Top represents.  Cherry on Top Agency can guarantee that unlike any other agencies, we have a brand background knowledge and understand the importance of delivery whilst meeting targets. I work on a very transparent basis where there are no hidden agendas. Communication is key and I like to form close relationships with business partners.  We achieve results whilst forming close working relationships.
