United States and New Jersey regions By Genevieve Rickey New Jersey Region United States and New Jersey regions USA Regions

Introduction A region is area with common features that set it apart from different areas. There are 5 regions in the United States. They are the Northeast, the Southeast, the Middle- West, the Southwest, and the West. There are 4 regions in New Jersey. They are The Atlantic Coastal Plains, Peidmont, Highlands, and Ridge and Valley.

The Northeast We live in this region The Appalachian Mountains run through most of the states in this region This region has all four seasons summer, winter, fall, and spring The Coastal Plains are in this region. They are a flat lowland along the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
