The Regional Tissue Bank of Tucumán was created in October 2010 and is an institution that since its beginnings handle internal policies that present it as an institution with the commitment to procure, store, process and distribute bone and tissue to the provinces of the NOA region. Conclusions The development of this institution has permitted the coordination among the different entities that allow the performance of the Regional Tissue Bank, achieving targets. We believe we are in the right course, to be able to comply the social role in this area that has not been yet developed in the NOA.
