HOLIDAYS IN KOS ISLAND,GREECE By George Tallaros

If you want to get away from home,your life seems to be a dead-end or feel lost in daily routine,

then come to Kos island,my father’s birthplace,by ship or plane,

just grab your wife,mother in law, babies,kids or pets…book tickets and

travel directly to Kos island which is situated at the southeast side of Greece,by Turkey.

There you will enjoy its exotic beaches where you can swim or relax,

walk through interesting archaeological sites,

try food NOT like that

but like THIS

also visit the unique spa place of hot spring waters,called ‘Therma’,

dance and drink at seaside night clubs,

get acquainted with friendly and attractive locals,

walk through the narrow stoney paths of the old town,or by Turkish historical mosques,

organise day-trips to nearby islands like Kalymnos, Nysiros,Patmos,Leros,Lipsi or even Turkey(Bodrum),

take a stroll through the ancient town of Kos,

visit Asklipeiion where there you can travel back in time via his (Asklipios) first Medical centre of the time,

admire Italian architecture mixed with Turkish monuments,

walk around the 2000-year-old plane tree of Hippocrates,recently restored,

hire a bike and take a bike ride through the newly costructed bike-way between palm or pine trees,

feel lost in your dreams and make wishes under the romantic moonlight after the sunset,

and finally buy souvenirs or gifts,

oops, I would almost forget, the famous tourist waterslides park,called LIDO…not far away from Kos town,
