How To Get A Horse Ready To Ride Starring Jonathan and Ashley

Introduction If you think you can just get on a horse and ride, you’re wrong! It’s a lot of work to get a horse ready to ride!

Materials Saddle Bridle Brushes Lead rope Halter Garth Hoof pick Saddle pad Helmet Boots jeans

Steps First, put on your helmet. Second, you take your halter and lead rope and go get your horse out of the pasture. Next, have an adult hold your horse while you get your horse ready to ride. Take your Curry comb and brush in light circles so you don’t hurt the horse. Don’t brush towards the head brush towards the butt.

More steps After that, you take your other brush and brush all the bad dirt off until your horse is nice and clean! Next, you take your hoof pick and pick out your horses feet until they are nice and clean.

The last of your steps Then you put the saddle pad on. After that, put the saddle on your horse. When you put it on make sure your stirrup doesn't get caught under the saddle. Next, pull your girth under your horses belly and fasten it Finally, you put on the bridle.

And now your ready to ride!
