Gingerbread cookies
Ingredients for dough: 700g flour 1 glass of powdered sugar 1.5 glasses of honey 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 large egg ¼ teaspoon salt 150g butter Spices: Ground cinnamon Ground cardamom Ground ginger
Put honey with butter, sugar and spices in to a pot and heat up over a low heat – stirring from time to time.
Sift flower, salt and baking soda. Next add lightly beaten egg and honey from the pot. Knead smooth, elastic and shiny dough.
Roll the dough so it is 1 cm thick, use different cookie molds to cut the shapes as you wish.
Preheat oven to 180 C. Place the cookies on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes – enjoy!!!!!!!
