Authoritative Definitions Low Angle- A low angle camera shot is where the camera is looking up at a character or object. This angle is used to inspire fear, awe, or to create a self importance for what ever is in the shot. Straight Angle- A straight angle camera shot is where the camera is looking at eye level with the character or object.
