Logline? What’s That? A log line or logline is a brief summary of a television program or film, often providing both a synopsis of the program's plot, and an emotional "hook" to stimulate interest. – Wikipedia It conveys the dramatic story of the show or film in the most abbreviated manner possible.

Logline Examples Star Wars When his caretakers are murdered, a young Jedi knight joins the rebel alliance and struggles against the Galactic Empire to destroy the Death Star, their nearly complete super weapon.

Independence Day Only two men can save the world when Aliens attack and attempt to loot and destroy Earth on July 4th.
