Delta students and teachers to ban bottled water sales in schools Expected to gain signatures in current petition Demanded meeting with school board officials – no response as of yet

Why bottled water? Polluting – discarded bottles usually cannot be recycled

Why bottled water? Unhealthy – bottled water processing generates chance of arsenic and e-coli

Why bottled water? Costly – bottled water costs students times more than same quality water from taps

Remove water for profit Eliminate all vending machines currently selling bottled water to students in Delta schools

Remove water for profit Repair and restore all drinking water fountains in hallways

Remove water for profit Educate and promote awareness of dangers of bottled water to students and parents
