How can you prepare your patient for FPD ?

INDICATION for FPD: one or two adjacent teeth are missing in the same arch. Supportive tissues are healthy. Suitable abutment teeth are present. Patient in good oral health and wants to have the prosthesis placed. Patient has the skills and motivation to maintain good oral hygiene.

CONTRAINDICATION for FPD : 1- NECESSARY SUPPORTIVE TISSUES ARE DISEASED or missing. 2- suitable abutment teeth are not present. 3- patient isin poor health or is not motivated to have the prosthesis placed. 4- patient has poor oral health hygiene habits. 5- patient cannot afford the treatment
