Examine the functions of two of the three branches of government. Executive: Head of state & head of government. Ceremonial leader of the nation.

The functions of the executive 2. Policy maker: instigates and cajoles support for domestic and foreign policies. 3. Administration: Appoints heads of executive departments i.e. state department, defense, treasury, press secretary, CIA etc…and gives direction to them. 4. Nominates supreme court justices
