WARNING! There are two things I can guarantee about this module 1. You will need to work hard and consistently (The first deadline is only 3 weeks away!) 2. You will have fun doing the work for the module if you take it seriously

What is Multimedia and Internet Technology? Multimedia equates to the use of multiple media in order to convey meaningful content. Media = Text Pictures Sound Video Animation Strong leaning to Web based multimedia content Multimedia Should Add Value - Multimedia is not an end in itself

You will learn how to… Plan your multimedia projects Document multimedia artefacts Create a range of multimedia Critique each other’s work Use a range of software Understand how multimedia data is stored

Module Delivery Pattern 1 X 1 hour lecture per week During the lecture you will be presented with the background technical theory to the practical sessions in the lab Not every week of the module will have a lecture! 1 X 2 hour lab session The lab is your opportunity to obtain hands on experience of the software / technology related to the module You need to put in seven hours a week of your own time! That’s one hour every day of the week!
