Schoolwide Learning Expectations Albert D. 4 th Grade 2011

A1. We are Catholic Christians who know the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church.

A2. We are Catholic Christians who take responsibility for our actions and make informed moral choices.

A3. We are Catholic Christians who honor Mary as our mother.

A4. We are Catholic Christians who promote a culture of life.

A5. We are Catholic Christians who develop a relationship with God through a variety of prayer forms.

A6. We are Catholic Christians who participate in the sacramental life of the Church.

The SLE’s at St. Dominic Savio School help me to become a better person because they taught me that we have to participate in the Mass, pray in different ways, care about life, honor Mary as our mother, make good choices like Jesus and learn more about the Catholic Church. It helps me make good choices because if we follow Jesus we will always make good choices. It also helps me honor Mary as our mother because she is also the mother of Jesus. It helps me care about life because we could make our life like Jesus’ life. It helps me learn about the Catholic Church because we could also learn more about Jesus. It helps me participate in the Mass because we receive the body and blood of Jesus. It helps me pray in different ways because in each way we pray, we talk to Jesus and God.
