 Selective  Reflective  Collaborative  Informative  Electronic/digital  Less space  Easily transmitted  Technology integrated

Deep permanent learning requires a sense of ownership, an ability to assess and change, and a pride in work produced. Focused, in-depth reflection is the key. Not a digital scrapbook…it is a record of growth, development and character.

 Goal statement  Autobiography  Resume/Scholarship resume  Awards  Outstanding Projects/Work  Writing samples (1 each year)  Persuasive essay  College essay  Community service journal

 Portfolio Reflection Day  Each year students review the contents and write final reflections on themselves as learners  Teachers, counselors and administrators function as coaches while students work on their portfolios  Professional Review Day (Seniors)  Presentations

 Resources…computers, scanner, materials  Workshops…how can we get kids in to the workshops  Career consultation---interview someone in the career they are interested in…come to Center for career interest testing….  accounts…they all need one for College Board activities
