Oratorio -Handel- A large musical composition including an orchestra, choir, and soloists. Somewhat like an opera; except with no props or costumes. Oratorios became extremely popular in early 27 th century in Italy because of the success of operas and church prohibitions during lent.
Symphony -Haydn- 4 movements 1 st - happy, joyful, cheery, and hyper! 2 nd -slower than 1 st. Same kind of melody. Makes you fall asleep 3 rd -back to the 1 st movement but with different variation. 4 th - as fast as the music could possibly be played is this movement.
