FORT BRAGG AND POPE AFB BRAC REGIONAL TASK FORCE Vision Transform the region’s workforce to meet the STEM needs of 21 st Century industries, such as defense, homeland security, military preparedness, health care, construction, social services, and information technologies.

FORT BRAGG AND POPE AFB BRAC REGIONAL TASK FORCE Established the All American Center for Workforce Innovation at FTCC Provided portable i3D systems for 7 community colleges Funded 11 portable i3D systems - for one pilot high school in each county (Golden LEAF grant) Installing 11 fixed i3D enhanced technology classrooms in all eleven counties (NC DOC ARRA stimulus grant) 3 Initial Actions

FORT BRAGG AND POPE AFB BRAC REGIONAL TASK FORCE Our future is tied to better preparing all students with skills to be successful in a STEM centered global economy. We must grow a culture of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematical in the Fort Bragg region. Goal Statement 1

FORT BRAGG AND POPE AFB BRAC REGIONAL TASK FORCE Students will understand STEM concepts better, more quickly, and with longer retention if we engage them in a motivational instructional environment – yielding fewer dropouts, more graduates. Goal Statement 2
