What is an adverb? ADVERBS
Adverbs, too play an important part in sentences. Like adjectives, adverbs are modifiers. Adverbs can modify three different parts of speech-verbs, adjectives and other adverbs. Using adverbs can create a more vivid picture in the readers mind. Although adverbs modify adjectives and other adverbs, they generally modify verbs. An adverb that modifies a verb will answer one of these four questions. Where? When? In what way? To what extent? ADVERBS
