ALL ABOUT PARA- SAUROLOPHUS BY NE’VEAH DIAZ

THE PARASAUROLOPHUS LIVED IN THE CRETACEOUS PERIOD, ABOUT 75 MILLION YEARS AGO.

THEY WERE HERBIVORES BECAUSE THEY ONLY ATE PLANTS.

WHAT WAS THE SIZE OF THE PARASAUROLOPHUS? They could grow up to 18feet tall, 10 feet in length and weigh up to 2.7 tons.

THE PARASAUROLOPHUS COMES FROM A FAMILY OF DINOSAURS KNOWN AS THE HADROSAURIDAE. THEY WERE KNOWN FOR HAVING STRANGELY SHAPED SKULLS. THE PARASAUROLOPHUS FEATURES A CREST ON ITS HEAD THAT FORMS A LONG PIPE, POINTING BACKWARDS FROM THE SKULL. THIS CREST MAY HAVE HELPED WITH HEARING AND HELPED TO REGULATE BODY TEMPERATURE.
