IEEE R10 IB&SC Section Survey – completed -To work with the Sections to identify the local benefit schemes, to improve upon them if necessary, and to recommend new benefit schemes that are of interests to the members. -The winners are: -Singapore Section – the most innovative and excellent local benefit schemes -Kerala Section – the best proposals for local benefit schemes 2. Individual Benefits and Services Committee Objectives 1.Summarize and communicate all IEEE benefits that are relevant to R10 members from surveys conducted in Call for proposals for implementation of benefit schemes by areas or countries 3.Working with MGA MBPAC to promote and implement family/lifestyles benefits in Singapore for local and visiting members Projects / Tasks 1.To solicit suitable proposals for Sections to roll out benefit schemes with limited financial support from R10 2.To work with MGA MBPAC for lifestyles/family benefits for local members and those visiting Singapore Project / Task Measurable Project 1 a.Identify and recommend 3-4 proposals to be implemented by Sections b.Mainly Sections effort with minimal financial support from R10 c.Benefit schemes are country specific d.Quality of proposals Project 2 a.Propose and implement 2-3 family/lifestyles benefits such as discounts to Singapore Science Centre, Singapore Museums, Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, Gardens by the Bay, and etc. b.For local and overseas IEEE members visiting Singapore c.Family members must be accompanied by IEEE members d.Work with MGA MBPAC for contractual issues e.Work closely with the Singapore Tourism Board f.Ease of implementation Committee Structure 1.Chair: Michael Ong 2.Members: Darrel, Kukjin, Elmer, Om and Takako Budget 1.Project 1: $800 2.Project 2: $500 Total Proposed Budget: $1300 Timeline 1.Project 1: Completion by Aug Project 2: Completion by Nov 2014
