Includes: ePotential Teacher ICT Capabilities Survey ePotential Continuum Resources bank Reflections Journal Planning Tools Reporting tools ePotential ICT Capabilities Resource

Three types of surveys are available: Teacher ICT Capabilities Survey for teachers in a classroom setting. Special Settings ICT Capabilities Survey for teachers in a special school settings. Non-Teaching ICT Capabilities Survey for non-teaching, regional and central staff. ePotential ICT Teacher Capabilities Surveys

Teachers are identified by their role description allowing leaders to analyse the survey results by select criteria. ePotential ICT Teacher Capabilities Surveys

Taking the ICT Teacher Capabilities Survey: The Survey consists of multiple choice questions divided into seven Key Areas. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Only the respondent can access their own survey to ensure privacy. ePotential ICT Teacher Capabilities Surveys

There are seven sections corresponding to each Key Area of the continuum. Each Key Area consists of one or two question banks. Weightings are applied between banks, question items and response indicators to ensure validity of results. Staff can respond to the survey questions in stages, returning to the survey at anytime for completion. Responses will be saved automatically. ePotential ICT Continuum

Teachers survey results are placed along the ePotential continuum for each of the seven areas. ePotential ICT Continuum

Teacher’s Survey results are highlighted on the Continuum. ePotential ICT Continuum

Teacher-generated resources and web resources are available for download. ePotential ICT Resources

Tutorials The resources are varied, dynamic and interactive. ePotential ICT Resources

The Reflection Journal within ePotential is provided to capture teachers reflections on a Key Area or Phase within the continuum. Entries could be about a resource or reflection on evidence of a change in practice. A dynamic link to ePotential resources can be added to the journal for ease of access at a later date. Staff can print their journal entries. ePotential Reflection Journal

ePotential provides an online wizard that allows teachers to set goals, assign action items to each goal and to return later to reflect. Both teacher action plans and reflections are tabulated into documents that can be printed out as a PDF. ePotential Planning Tool

Teachers can print a report of their responses to each question to assist them in setting goals for professional learning. ePotential Reports for Teachers

Teachers can view their overall results to see at a glance which phase they are at in their ICT professional growth. If interested, teachers can compare their results to state averages. ePotential Reports for Teachers

Individuals can see at a glance their summative scores for each Key Area ePotential Reports for Teachers

Comparison Reports show teachers where they sit compared to their colleagues. Reports can be generated for each year the survey has been completed to show progression over time. ePotential Reports for Teachers

Leaders can view the Survey responses for every question in each area. Responses are represented as a percentage aggregated for their school. ePotential Reports for Principals and Leaders

Leaders can compare their school aggregated survey results to the state data. Leaders can compare their school results over a number of years. ePotential Reports for Teachers

Data analysis and Comparison Report templates are provided to enable leaders to produce tailored reports. ePotential Reports for Teachers

Data Analysis and Comparison Report templates are provided to enable leaders to produce tailored reports. ePotential Reports for Teachers

State and Regional Data Comparison Reports are created each year to measure growth in ICT teacher capabilities and confidence. The reports will be shared with school leaders. Key trends from each area within the ePotential continuum demonstrate successes and identify areas for improvement thereby assisting participating Dioceses in evaluating initiatives and school support services. ePotential Reports for Dioceses and Regional Leaders
