Outline  Andalusian territory  Project’s concept  Why here?  Goal  Routes  Achievements

The Andalusian autonomous community is officially recognized as a nationality of Spain. The territory is divided into eight provinces: Almeríaa, Cádizz, Córdobaa, Granadaa, Huelva, Jaén n, Málagaa and Sevilla. Its capital is the city of Sevilla. Andalusia is in the south of the Iberian peninsula, immediately south of the autonomous communities of Extremadura and Castile–La Mancha; west of the autonomous community of Murcia and the Mediterranean Sea; east of Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean; and north of the Mediterranean Sea and the Strait of Gibraltar.

Andalusian heritage routes are a public foundation Andalusian. These routes pass through those trails that were once drawn to the Kingdom of Granada communicate with the rest of Andalusia, Murcia and Portugal. It's a brand, a concept that brings together various themes such as history, culture, heritage, people, traditions... about specific routes, traced on the map Andalusian.

Is this a bid to strengthen the domestic tourism offer. The creation of this network seeks to highlight Routes towns and other places of interest that, for various reasons (existence of monuments, situation, historical references, literary or legendary), are linked to the Andalusian civilization. Roads provide access to different locations either along existing roads, recovering or returning to traditional ways walk where ancient travelers did.

The main objective convert these routes in developing engines for those routes selected areas through the implementation of an infrastructure in services relating to hospitality, leisure or transportation which also involves creating job ready.

It would be very extensive to cite each and every one of the routes created by the city, however, the main ones: Route of the Califato Route of Washington Irving Route of the Nazaries Route of the Almoravides y Almohades Route of the Alpujarras Route of Ibn al- Khatib Route of al-Idrisi Route of al-Mutamid Walks by Granada

This proposal by the council of the city of Granada, has managed to foster a strong domestic tourism and revive a tradition and culture that lay forgotten in a very important territory on the Iberian Peninsula. In summary, we could say that thanks to the implementation of this project has gotten known civilization differently this territory and its traditions, through rural tourism, culinary and monumental. With this idea the number of jobs has increased and improved its position Andalusia as selected destination for travelers.
