INTRODUCTION TO SCHEME “WILTSHIRE POLICE “OUTBOX” HAS BEEN COMMISIONNED BY THE POLICE AND CRIME COMMISIONER FOR WILTSHIRE AND SWINDON THROUGH HIS INNOVATION FUND. THE FUNDING HAS ENABLED THE START UP AND CONTINUED RUNNING COSTS FOR A MULTI AGENCY SCHEME TO REFER YOUNG PEOPLE TO BOXING CLUBS AND TO SUPPORT GUIDE AND MENTOR THEM. THE AIM OF THE SCHEME IS TO GIVE INDIVIDUALS A POSITIVE FOCUS, REDUCING THEIR ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AND OR CRIMINAL ACTIVITY”
