Indirect Objects
Indirect Object: noun, pronoun, word group that sometimes appears in sentences containing direct objects; tell to/for whom or to/for what the action of the verb is done. He fed the dog a biscuit. He fed what? Biscuit. To whom? Dog. **Sentence must have action verb and DO.** **Cross out prep phrases.** **Find subject/verb/DO before IO.**
Compound Indirect Object: indirect object that is a compound noun or has more than one noun or pronoun I gave Jamie and Amanda their tickets. I gave what? Tickets. To whom? Jamie, Amanda
