What is Quo Vadis? Dawid Wawrzyniak “The movement was founded on the idea of providing its participants with the unique opportunity to network, exchange innovative ideas and gain leadership skills from inspirational speakers and interactive workshops. Quo Vadis aims to focus on three key areas: Heritage, Leadership and Unity.” quovadisconferences.org.au/web/ “The Quo Vadis Conference Series aims to foster a world-wide network of motivated Polish youth. The main goals of these conferences are to promote an active Polonia, explore our Polish identity and culture, develop new local and international projects, increase the visibility of our community, and the transmission of knowledge from current Polish leaders to the next generation.“ quovadismontreal2013.com … and also:

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK UNITY Dawid Wawrzyniak Millions of Poles in the USA unable to abolish visas for Polish citizens. Second biggest ethnical minority in Germany have no minority rights. Poles in the Eastern Borderlands (former territory of the eastern provinces of Poland - western Ukraine, western Belarus and eastern Lithuania) are persecuted How many of you have heard about previous QV conferences? Who knows what issues and projects were talked about? Who knows what the result was?

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK LEADERSHIP Dawid Wawrzyniak We learn and improve during conferences. No other place where we can share knowledge, experience and ideas We are not able to do it on a daily basis. Do we know our mistakes?

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK PROJECTS Dawid Wawrzyniak Conferences – great atmosphere and drive to work together. Just few results after. And also big failures.

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK We have been trying… Dawid Wawrzyniak Local and international umbrella organisations. Many various conferences. Conferences are not very open. Websites, Polish press and radio. We are still in the 20 th century.

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK Biggest problem - communication Dawid Wawrzyniak Different reports – the same problem again and again – communication. Without communicating we cannot cooperate, develop, or be united. Let’s do worldwide conferences over the whole year, 365 days, 24/7.

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK Solution Dawid Wawrzyniak Use a proper medium – INTERNET Plug in our organisations by having a professional websites. Give them for free and provide free technical support. Organisations who have already websites could swap them to ours. For others provide different solutions so they could use at least some part of our system. The most important part - connect all that into one huge network. Create various databases which all of you could access from your own websites.

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK Capabilities of our system Dawid Wawrzyniak Polish organisation Polish organisation PCN national website website MEDIAMEDIA Your own contacts contacts Polishorganisations

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK Capabilities of our pages - event calendar Dawid Wawrzyniak PolishorganisationPolishorganisation PolishorganisationPolishorganisation Calendar Calendar with all the holidaysPolishorganisationPolishorganisation PolishorganisationPolishorganisation PCN national website website

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK Comparison of todays and tomorrows operational methods Dawid Wawrzyniak Pic. 1 Current capabilities to share information Pic. 2 Capabilities of our system

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK Effects of working together Dawid Wawrzyniak Results of working together: A map with Polish places with Memoriale in Lithuania An international library with the Federation of Polish Scouts in Germany Correcting false information about Poland such as “Polish death camps” with Polish Media Issues – a worldwide organisation. Research modules with Szkoła Liderów and Instytut Naukowo-Badawczy im. Zygmunta Wojciechowskiego in Poznań.

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK Effects of working together Dawid Wawrzyniak Easier to find each other. Easier to coordinate different kinds of actions. Simpler and faster promotion of what we want to convey. Common databases like: address databases for the press or of other organisations. Diversity – the key to our success. Mutual motivation. Lower cost. Easier and cheaper to introduce new features. The more people join the faster we all develope.

POLISH COOPERATION NETWORK Polish Cooperation Network Our branches are in: United Kingdom Germany Canada (started by PISK after our presentation during Quo Vadis in Vancouver August 2014) almost 70 organisations from 8 countries. Dawid Wawrzyniak Please join us. Help us.
