Museum field trip By Hanna Monastyrski Paula Menckel And Rauan Beibutova

Introduction On February 2,Thursday we went to the the Bund History Museum and looked at different exhibits to learn about conflicts and differences between Chinese people and western people. Here is a presentation about what we found in the museum.

cloths ChineseWestern There was a bit of difference between cloths that the Chinese and westerns were wearing. Most of the Chinese were poor and could not buy luxuries cloths so they had to wear old and home made cloths. But since the westerns had more money they bought better and nicer cloths.

Homes\Architecture The Chinese temples stayed usually with the twirl design on the roof and are red and gold. Their homes were small and crappie and they had to share with other people. Chinesewestern The Westerns had more clean, gold, white, and fancy homes.

Religion Chinesewestern Some Chinese began to change to Christian and some got really mad at them. Most of the westerns were already Christians.

Transportation poorrich Some of the Chinese needed money, so they worked for the rich people. One common thing was to drive or pull the rich The rich were the passengers.

Jobs Chinesewestern The Chinese had hard jobs so they got a small amount of money and the Christians thought that was fair. The Westerns mostly had easy jobs and got more money than the Chinese.
