National Rural Health Day Officially Thursday, November 15 (National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health and others planning week of NRHD-related events ) Created in 2011 to: Tout the strengths of rural communities as places to live and work Increase awareness of rural health-related issues Promote the efforts of communities and their partners in addressing those issues
