Plan Empower the Filipino Young Farmers to Engage Civil Society, Business, and Government in pursuit of Sustainable Agriculture and Family Farming

Aims strengthen the civil engagement of young Filipino farmers to claim their rights; bring pride to family farming as a noble profession and; establish enabling policies that will support young farmers in the country to become key players in strengthening democratic institutions and rule of law

A call for the conceptualisation and passage of a Magna Carta for Young Farmers INFORMATION/EDUCATION- Agriculture-sensitive Educational Curriculum for Elementary and High Schools- Broader scholarships for all agri-related courses/More Information on agriculture LAW ENFORCEMENT PARTICIPATION FINANCING PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PAKISAMA- Provide capacity building to young farmers (technical assistance)

Conclusion The initial plan was beyond capacity which led to the revision and the trimming down to a more realistic set of expectations

Conclusion strengthen the civil engagement of young Filipino farmers to claim their rights; bring pride to family farming as a noble profession and; establish enabling policies that will support young farmers in the country to become key players in strengthening democratic institutions and rule of law

Conclusion Through the use of FACT concepts, we were able to carry out systematic researches and membership consultations and were able to come up with SMART proposals.
