Social Studies  Core 1

Letter Dear Parents I am in the war. I am not fighting right now. It is very tough and not fun here. I am restricted on the thing I am able to use, such as guns, bathroom, shower, medicine, water, and food. It is very cold and hard being here, I don’t know very many people. If there is gas we have to wear a gas mask so we don’t inhale the gas. On a day to day basis we only get water if we find a creek to drink in. I hope I’m able to come home soon. Your son, Logan

But though the 93 rd division was also organized by the United States army it was a group of colored people. I’m sure they were not affected because they have fought in every American war in history.
