STEPS TO COMPLETE THE FAFSA Log on to Students & Parents Apply for PIN. Click on Apply for PIN Return to Under 2 – Fill out your FAFSAwww.fafsa.ed.gov Select school year. Fill in information requested If student did not bring financial information, continue. Electronically sign with PIN. If logged out, simply log back in under 2 – Open your saved FAFSA.

After Completing the FAFSA Advise student that if he/she did not bring financial information, they will need to log back in (under 2) and enter financial information before submitting. Once submitted, he/she will receive an with 2 weeks confirming that the Student Aid Report (SAR) is complete. At this point, the student and/or parent may contact the schools’ where he/she has been admitted financial aid office and ask what loans and grants will be offered. Advise the students that these amounts will be different at each school because the offered amount is based on the school’s tuition.
