 Ancient Ghana is located on the continent of Africa.  It is near the Ivory Coast.

 The people of Ancient Ghana traded goods.  They had the richest gold mines on earth.  The people sold slaves, salt, and copper.

 The ancient Ghana’s religion was Christianity and Islamic.

 The role of women in ancient Ghana were to make babies, to sell fish, and to farm.  The role of child-bearing was believed as a means for ancestors to be reborn.

Northern Ghana literary influences came from Islam whereas, the south was influenced by Christianity.

 Ancient Ghana’s government was a constitutional democracy which means that the laws in which the people had to follow was designed as a constitution.

Ancient Ghana took over Britain in March 6,1957. In the same day Dr.Kwame Nkrumah became the first Ghanaian Prime Minister
