 Coil building – rolling out thin or thick coils by hand or with an extruder  Chunk Building – using small chunks of clay as you go and building up to the final form  Slab building – rolling or throwing out slabs of varying thickness  Pinch – pinch the clay into its form  Combining all these methods together may also be used, no steadfast rules on methods

 One handmade teapot  Guidelines  Must make the teapot combining any methods discussed in this presentation  Teapot idea must be representative of another artists teapot that you will research and bring a printed copy of to work from  This is not a copy but you are using another persons work as inspiration  Teapot does not have to be functional but must have : Handle, Spout, Lid, Body  You have exactly 2 weeks to finish this and it counts as your final exam grade
