Team Building Working with others

Flag Pole For this task you must work with your team mate(s) to plan and build a flagpole and design a flag to fly! The Flag pole must be 1.5m tall and your team’s flag should be A3 size.

You can use… Newspaper to build your flag pole (see handout for instructions) Cellotape Scissors Plain A3 paper & coloured pencils/pens to design and draw your flag

Working together Everyone must play an equal part in making the flag and pole. Each team must have a design (a drawing of what the flagpole will look like) before starting to build. When your flagpole is finished, it must stand on its own without bending or falling over!

Working together You should spend about 15-20 minutes planning and drawing what your flagpole will look like. You should spend about 1 hour building it being careful not to rush it! You now have 1 hour & 15 minutes to plan, draw and build your flagpole!

GO!!
