Geography Shapes Life in Japan By Anthony, Ian, and Dylan

The Land A chain of undersea mountains and volcanoes that eventually rose from the ocean. People lived in low coastal areas because it was to hard to live and farm on mountains and hillsides

The Sea Japanese people used the sea for food and transportation. It helped Japan be isolated from the rest of Asia.

The Culture By being isolated from the rest of Asia Japan developed its own culture However Japan was still influenced by China and Korea
