DMG Storage Policy – Suggestions Confidential Inactivity Policies for Other Corporations: Dropbox, Box.com, Sugarsync reserves the right to delete accounts after 90 days for inactivity. Hotmail, and Gmail will delete your account after 9 months of inactivity. Yahoo will delete your account after 6 months + (2 months x age of account in years) DMG Proposed Policy: Delete files in cineSHARE+ Trash and Migrated to EAGL folders that have been unused for 180 days or more. Purge files in the EAGL Recycle bin after 180 days of deletion Institute formal policy to delete all files in cineSHARE+ and EAGL personal folders after 30 days of inactivity. For cineSHARE assets will be removed from personal folder in case assets are also in public folders. If orphaned, asset will be moved to the Trash (and then purged). Move EAGL assets to recycle bin? Upon upload to public folders / site, enforce customers specify if asset is temporary or for archive If temporary, asset would be deleted after 90 days of inactivity Issues enforcing on historical hot folders If archive, asset would be archived based on archive policy
