My husband, Kelly is the manager of the Midwest Dairy Institute in Milbank, SD. We have 3 children: Alexandra-age 11, Matthew-age 9, and Benjamin-age 5. The kids attend Grant-Deuel School and keep us very busy! This is our house !

I graduated from Northern State University in my hometown of Aberdeen, SD with a B.S. in Music with a minor in Theater. This is my second year at Grant-Deuel and my 6 th year teaching. Previously I taught at Florence School for 4 years where I taught K-12 Band/Choir as well as directing all the plays. This year I will be teaching K-12 Vocal Music as well as an Exploring Music Class. I will also be directing the One-Act plays and the Spring Play/Musicals. I coach the Elementary Girls Dance Team which is made up of girls from 3 rd -6 th grade. I also have a private voice studio.
