The Result: Right Student. Right Course. First Time Degree Compass successfully predicted the courses in which students would achieve an A,B, or C with 90% accuracy. The effectiveness of Degree Compass recommendations: – 90% of students who took a 4-star class received an A or a B, – Compared with 62% of A or B grades awarded in general. The increase of students passing courses resulted in an increase of funding of $5.5 million over a 2 year period.
