What do we aim for?

Identification of social issues and challenges, in order to find the'' fresh'' solutions by using creativity and intelligence of each society member.

What is social innovation? Our team defines it as : The best solution that offers an efficient, sustainable and pos s itive social change or solution for social problem.

Why social innovation is important? It is a new form of thinking - that suggest firstly, the common public interest and development and secondly - own personal benefit; Tends to cooperate rather than to compete; Involve s the whole of society.

Why do we contact you? Today, any organization can become a social innovation organization. How does it work? Very simple! Human resource development is primary key! Education of employees can help them use their knowledge and skills more efficient to tackle social challenges !

What are our directions?

Civic participation and the promotion of civil society participation in policy formation (documents and legal acts). Promotion of active citizenship - an individual's participation in society and public life; Representation of social risk groups and other groups - interests and rights, promotion of skills, integration process; P romot ing knowledge and understanding of social innovation and social entrepreneurship, and the role of creativity ; P romot ing the development of creative and culture industries, inter-disciplinarity, cultural and heritage conservation and awareness ; P romoting regional development and local government capacity building ; S trengthening public health and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Our tream Iveta Cīrule, M.Soc.Pol. Participation in various national support initiatives and tools in the development and implementation of cultural and creative industries; Experience in international project management in the field of health promotion and training of human resources in the field (including the European Community, now 2.Health programs co-financed project TUBIDU ( / tubidu Latvian project manager). Renāte Lukjanska,Phd Innovation expert with over 10 years experience in international sales and marketing in Baltic states. Knowledge of innovation Renate gain in international companies, as well as a theoretical base at RTU MBA program'' Entrepreneurship and Innovation'' and doctoral studies at LLU. Since 2009, Renate has begun to be active in the non-governmental sector. Renate takes active lecturing work and advises individuals on voluntary bases regarding social initiatives.

Our team Agrita Kiopa, PhD Assistant Professor, specializing in policy analysis methods. Experience of working UNESCO Latvian National Commission for Education, Youth leader position. Extensive experience of working with young people she gained while working in social organization of Latvian Youth shares Peace.
