Rewards:  PEZ…just for our pod  PEZ…just for our pod  PEZ store  PAWS….school wide  Dog Pound  Homework Parties

What if I am absent?  Bring excuse to the attendance in CAFETERIA the day you return- NOT HOMEROOM!  Make sure you visit your teachers the day you return to schedule make-up work and tests. This is YOUR responsibility.  Parents may call us for work so you do not get behind!  A homework buddy is great too! Pick a dependable student at Eyer to get your h/w and deliver it to you.  Check the website for your missed work.

NOTES:  If you are leaving early, note to OFFICE before homeroom.  If you are going home a different way, you do NOT have to bring us a note.  But, the bus is a different story……

Writing Utensils  Every morning make sure you have sharp pencils. Before homeroom is a good time to sharpen pencils.  You may buy pencils from your homeroom teacher before homeroom. They are 3 PEZ each.  You may buy pencils from your classroom teacher at the beginning of class ONLY!

POD 3 Binder  This is a 1” ring binder that goes with you ALL day and goes home too!  Inside the binder should be:  A 3 hole pencil case that contains sharpened pencils, pens, erasers, lead (if needed), and any other supplies you need on a regular basis  A 3 hole pocket folder- one side labeled PAPERS FOR HOME and the other side labeled HOMEWORK  Assignment book  Notebook paper  Phone-A-Friend sheet should be in the HOMEWORK pocket.

Homework  Will be factored into your grade.  See us for help during 4 th period.  Use PHONE- A-FRIEND to prevent a missed assignment.  Must be in class and complete – or it is a missed assignment; CANNOT go to your locker  See POD 3 website for daily homework updates

different: 6 th grade is different:  Your desk is NOT your desk.  Lunch money goes directly to cafeteria.  Ninth period: activity periods.  Days 1-6  Spirit Day is every Friday; wear Green and Gold and/or Eyer clothing for a PAWS.  Study halls are study halls.  You need to be your OWN advocate & be responsible.  YOU should approach teachers if you have questions, problems, and/or need help.
