Materials Needed Daily  Your laptop, with enough battery charge for the class period  Standard “every class, every day” supplies  Pen (blue or black), Pencil, Highlighter and Eraser  If you want to use a mechanical pencil, bring extra leads. HB leads are equal to the standard #2 pencil, but 0.5mm leads will not work in a 0.7mm pencil  If you want to use a standard #2 wooden pencil, bring a sharpener.  loose-leaf paper – this is mainly for notes and assignments that must be done in hard-copy  Colored Pencils  A USB flash drive  A Spanish-English dictionary if your primary language is Spanish

General Expectations  Be honest with me, your classmates, your parents and yourself.  If you are unclear or confused about anything, I expect you to ask me to clarify  “I didn’t understand” is not an excuse; it is a problem that needs to be solved. Use the resources I have provided to solve it. If you need different resources, ask.  I expect that you will use your resources wisely, including your time and mine

Classroom Rules  Follow district, state and federal rules  Watch out for your own safety and the safety of other students  Make sure that everyone has the opportunity to learn  Let me know if anyone is interfering with your learning
