Pre 476 A.D Modern

Pre 476 A.D This Picture that I choose for pre 476 A.D shows Zeus king of all the gods and goddess holding a lightning bolt and with an eagle on his hand. Zeus is shown handling a lightning bolt which shows his courage, strength and power over all mortals and the Olympians. In his other hand Zeus is seen having a eagle about to take flight. The Eagle on his hand represents his favorite bird and since the eagle is the king of all birds just like Zeus the eagle should represent Zeus. I choose this image since it showed the power of Zeus and some things that represent him. Therefore this is why I choose this particular picture to represent Zeus. Modern In the modern picture it shows Zeus in the sky holding a lightning bolt also in the background there is Mount Olympus and an eagle flying. Zeus looks like a man with a toga on that looks old and wise but has a youthful feeling which is how people usually portray Zeus. Zeus is looking angry or furious and looks like he is about to strike something with his lightning bolt. I choose this picture because it shows everything that represents him like his favorite place Mount Olympus, his favorite bird the eagle which is the king of birds which is just like Zeus since he is the king of all gods and goddess. That is why I choose this image for my modern image because it represents everything how Zeus is usually portrayed.
