LEARNING PLAN FOR MONSTER PROJECT Social Studies Objective:Students will use the monster project to locate a place on a map. Motivation:Have you ever given someone directions to your house? Can you explain to your classmates how you get to school from your house? Aim:How do we use the monster project to follow directions using a map?

MATERIALS NEEDED Scissors Construction paper Paste Pencils Crayons Ruler Eraser Sharpener Drawing Tools

DIRECTIONS First, we will fold our construction paper in half. Next, we will fold the paper in half again. Finally, open the paper and it will be in four sections.
