Sensory Neuron By Cait White

The Sensory Neuron Sensory neurons are nerve cells that carry information from the senses toward the central nervous system. Soma is the main body of the neuron or other cell. Axon is a thin fiber that conducts information away from the cell body of a neuron. The sensory neurons are telling the spinal cord that the baby wants away from the crazy lady’s clutch. (hah)

Dis be a Sensory Neuron - Sensory Neurons respond to a stimulus by firing off a message to the spinal cord, which then responds accordingly. - This process is done completely without the help of the brain.
