Translating Words into Algebraic Expressions

Vocabulary  Variable  is a symbol usually a letter that represents one or more numbers.  ex. A number - n  Algebraic Expression  is a mathematical phrase that can include numbers, variables, and operation symbols.  ex. 2n - 1  Equation  is a mathematical sentence that uses an equal sign.  ex. 4x + 5 = 25
